One flat subscription. Clients pay us nothing and you keep 100% of what you charge. How we make money. After you subscribe, we email you your personal 4-digit code. You'll use it to place bids.
Dockitt makes money one way: accountants pay a flat subscription. That's it. We don't charge clients, and we never take a cut of what you earn.
or $120 a year. Flat. Cancel anytime.
No finder's fee, no listing fee, no markup.
You set your rate and keep 100% of it.
Most marketplaces earn when you earn, so they take a percentage of every job. We think that pushes a platform to work for itself first. A flat subscription means our interests line up with yours: we do well when accountants find good work and stay. What you charge a client is between you and the client, and it's paid directly to you.
Your subscription pays for the platform and for the people running it: listing and vetting contracts, matching bids to accountants, keeping the site and member support running, and building the community, including in-person events that start in New York City and then spread around the world.
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe, which charges us a processing fee on each payment. These are Stripe's published rates and they can change, so the figures below are approximate.
| Plan | You pay | Stripe fee | Dockitt keeps |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $10.00 | ~$0.66 | ~$9.34 |
| Yearly | $120.00 | ~$4.62 | ~$115.38 |
Those amounts come before our own operating costs. Stripe's current rates are listed at stripe.com/pricing.
Dockitt exists to give licensed accountants everywhere another route besides the traditional corporate path, with direct access to project work and a community of people who think the same way. Keeping the model simple and transparent is part of that promise.
Tell us who you are so we can match you with the right contracts and confirm your license. This goes to our team. It isn't shown publicly.
Thank you for subscribing. Your payment went through, and Stripe is emailing you a receipt. You're now part of the Dockitt community.
Watch your inbox. Our team will email you your personal 4-digit member code. You need that code to place a bid. If you don't see it within 24 hours, check your spam or promotions folder, or write to us at dockittofficial@gmail.com.
Your code works on every contract, the ones open now and the new ones we add. You can bid as often as you like while your membership is active. We're a small team doing everything ourselves, so thank you for your patience and for being here from the start.
Dockitt is a community of licensed accountants, and people who may become one, who want a different route than the traditional corporate path. We respect that structure, and we're also challenging it. We're building an alternative for accountants worldwide, starting online and showing up in person, beginning with events in New York City and then around the world.
Being part of it doesn't depend on a subscription. Here is what each way of joining means.
Follow our page and join the conversations that matter to accountants worldwide. Like, comment, and share what we post. Every share can put an idea in front of an accountant, or a future one, who starts thinking, moving, and deciding differently about their career. That is our mission, and it needs no payment. You're part of the community either way.
A subscription lets you bid on the live contracts. We email you a personal 4-digit code, and you use it when you bid so we can match you to your account. It's a flat fee with no cut of your service fees and no finder's fee for clients.

Dockitt is an online marketplace that connects independent, licensed accountants with businesses and individuals who need project-based accounting work. Dockitt facilitates introductions and communication. Dockitt is not an accounting firm, does not provide accounting, tax, audit, or legal services, and is not a party to any engagement between an accountant and a client.
Accountants must hold an active license or professional designation in good standing in the country or state where they practice (for example CPA, CA, ACA, ACCA, CMA, EA, or the local equivalent), must be at least 18, and must give us accurate information. We may ask for proof of your license and may decline or remove any account we cannot verify. You are responsible for following the licensing, tax, and professional rules that apply where you and your client are located. Clients must be authorized to engage accounting services for themselves or their business.
Accountants pay a flat subscription to bid on contracts: $10 per month or $120 per year, billed in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe, and we do not store your full card number. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Except where the law requires otherwise, we do not refund payments for a period already started. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal. Taxes may apply depending on where you are.
Dockitt does not charge clients a finder's fee and does not take a percentage of any accountant's service fee. What an accountant charges a client is agreed between them and paid directly to the accountant.
After you subscribe, we email you a 4-digit member code. You use it when you place a bid so we can match the bid to your account. Keep your code private. Do not share it or let anyone else bid with it. You are responsible for bids placed with your code. If you think it has been misused, email us and we will issue a new one. A bid is an expression of interest only. It does not guarantee you will be matched with the client, and it does not create an engagement. Matching and introductions are currently handled by our team, and we may decline, pause, or remove any bid or contract at our discretion.
Contract listings describe opportunities in summary form. We try to keep them accurate and current, but a listing can change, be filled, or be withdrawn without notice, and we do not guarantee that any listing will result in work. Do not use client information you learn through Dockitt for any purpose other than evaluating and performing that engagement.
Introductions made through Dockitt are part of what your subscription pays for. You agree not to use Dockitt only to find a client and then take that engagement outside the platform in order to avoid the platform's process.
Accountants are independent professionals, not employees or agents of Dockitt. You are solely responsible for the quality of your work, your engagement terms with the client, your professional obligations, your taxes, and following applicable law. Accountants are required to carry professional liability (errors and omissions) insurance appropriate to their work, and may be asked to confirm it.
Do not provide false information or a license you do not hold, impersonate anyone, harass others, upload malicious code, scrape or copy the platform, or use Dockitt for anything unlawful. We may suspend or end access for any violation of these terms.
Dockitt is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, Dockitt does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any accountant or client is suitable for your needs. Dockitt is not responsible for the quality, accuracy, timeliness, or outcome of any accounting services, or for any dispute between an accountant and a client. To the extent the law allows, Dockitt's total liability to you for any claim related to the platform is limited to the amount you paid Dockitt in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You can stop using Dockitt at any time by cancelling your subscription and emailing us to close your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we cannot verify your license.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York, New York, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
We may update these terms as Dockitt grows. If a change is material, we will tell active users by email or on the site. Continuing to use Dockitt after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Questions about these terms can be sent to dockittofficial@gmail.com.
We collect what you give us directly:
Your browser may also save your name, email, location, and license on your own device (in local storage) so you do not need to retype them when you place another bid. You can clear this from your browser settings.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run Dockitt:
